GoGeo makes use of social media such as Blogs, Facebook and Twitter. Part of the aim is to generate a community but this means that people beyond the GoGeo team can add content to the pages. Therefore it is important to stress that GoGeo and EDINA cannot control the content on these sites and feeds. EDINA does not moderate the content of the GoGeo Twitter feed. EDINA is not responsible as author, editor or publisher of any material included in the GoGeo Twitter and EDINA expressly excludes liability for any such content.
EDINA does not moderate the content of messages made on the GoGeo Facebook page. EDINA is not responsible as author, editor or publisher of any material contributed by others on the GoGeo Facebook page and EDINA expressly excludes liability for any such content.
EDINA does try to moderate messages and comments left on the GoGeo Blog. However, EDINA is not responsible as author, editor or publisher of any material contributed by others, such as comments and messages, on the GoGeo Blog page and EDINA expressly excludes liability for any such content.
If you discover content on the GoGeo blog, Facebook page or the GoGeo Twitter list that is offensive, please contact the GoGeo team (edina@ed.ac.uk) and the matter will be investigated.
