Reference Material - Agmap
The UK Academic Geospatial Metadata Application Profile, Version 2.1 (UK AGMAP 2.1), for Dataset and Dataset Series and Geo Services, is a template designed to support the documentation and discovery of spatial datasets and dataset series and geo services within Higher and Further Education.
Both UK AGMAP 2.1 profiles contain all the elements found in the online Geodoc Metadata Editor Tool form to create compliant metadata records for publication on the GoGeo portal or other geo-portals which support ISO 19115, FGDC, UK GEMINI 2.1, INSPIRE, Data Documentation Initiative (DDI) and Dublin Core.
Guidelines are also included for both UK AGMAP 2.1 profiles. The guidelines provide several hundred pages of detailed information and examples for Geodoc and GoGeo users to reference for clarification and to support the creation of accurate and compliant geospatial metadata records.
