Go-Geo Help - Using the Quick Search
Introduction
The quick search is a fast and easy way of retrieving dataset records
and is designed for ease of use by less experienced users. If you are
producing too many results, use the Advanced
Search to narrow your search criteria.

Selecting
the Data Extent
Once you have chosen your Quick search criteria, click on the ‘Go!’
button. If the system is happy with your search criteria, you will be
taken to the Search Results page.
However, if the system is uncertain about the place name you have
entered (e.g. ‘Edinburgh’ brings up 3 regions: city, census and parish,
or 'Brighton' which gives you 15 choices of place names in the country
with brighton in the title, see image below) then a popup box will
appear powered by Unlock, and you will be able to choose which
specific area you mean to search by.
