Introduction
The Go-Geo! home page allows access to different ways of searching for records and also provides links to additional resources related to geographic information. Links to the 'help' feature and information about the portal can be found at the top of the page.

Using the Home Page

Navigation

The Go-Geo! website has 3 main Panel Areas with menus (Blue, Red, and Green), which are explained in the Navigation pages.

1. Quick Search
The 'Quick Search' provides simple Locational (Map-Based) and/or keyword search.

2. Advanced Search
The 'Advanced Search' provides a more detailed way of searching, including geographic location coordinates and temporal dates search, as well as the ability to search particular catalogues individually.

3. Supply Metadata
The 'Supply Metadata' section provides a metadata creation tool and support for those wishing to share metadata information about their data on the Go-Geo! website.

4. Swap Datasets
This links to: 'GRADE Geospatial Data Repository ' which is a repository allowing GIS datasets to be freely shared and swapped within a geospatial community for Go-Geo! Digimap users

5. Web Resources
The 'Web Resources' (Blue Panel Section) provides links to other geographic information-related sites, such as those providing free software, training courses and Geo-Standards information. These pages may be accessed by clicking on the menu links found on the left-hand side of the screen.
